Time to go home.

A comedy double bill marks the last scene of Sheringham Players "homelessness".  The amateur drama group's final production before the Little Theatre reopens, is again based at Cromer Parish Hall.

Their evening of comedy offers two short plays and a revue of Bits and Pieces.

Caught on the Hop, by David Foxton, sees French wife Sophie returning home from a rendevous with her lover to find her husband absent - and immediately suspecting him of philandering.

The porter finds himself trouserless behind a screen as a Hunchback of Notre Dame. After that the plot really thickens.

The gentler humour of Last Scene of All focuses on four elderly actresses passing their days in a home for retired artistes - as they talk, bicker and banter their talents are pressed into use in a Christmas entertainment.
